When shopping in Downtown Eureka Springs take the Red trolley up Spring Street to the Post Office and then walk downhill to shop. This is much easier than climbing up the mountain! ShoppingHighway 62 West to 62 EastCastle Antiques at Inspiration Point large selection of antique furniture and primitives. Original painted finishes, prints, books, tools at fair prices (be sure to enjoy the view of the White River) Razorback Gift Shop has Ozark gifts, souvenirs and a large selection of decorative flags. Mountain Handcrafts Company has hooked rugs and supplies, baskets, blown glass, potter, hiking sticks, spinning wheels and books. (Ask about the How-to-classes) Darlene's , in Pine Mountain Village, offers lovely gifts and accessories of crystal, brass, candles and flower arrangements. DowntownOn upper Spring Street you'll find wonderful galleries such as 83 Spring Street Features bronze works and fine porcelain pieces by Lladro and Sculptor Armani. Morrison Woodward Gallery features Pen and Ink American Wildlife, well known and local artist. For jazzy jewelry and unique pieces stop at both Quick Silver and Zarks. For home and garden accessories be sure to visit Vintage Cargo and also Willows (near Crescent Hotel), Back Porch (on Center Street) Mountain Eclectic (take the green trolley) and also stop at Paper Odyssey for hand-made cards, rubber stamps, scrap booking material and collage packets (ask for demo). Abundant Memories is a place that U.S. history comes alive through a patriotic story telling ' historama " show at 10:30 am and 12:45. Nestled in the woods on 23 N there are 25 buildings modeled after America of 200 years ago. The Great Passion Play is a wonderful and awesome production and the grounds there offer a playground and an amazing 7 story tall statue, “Christ of the Ozarks”. ToursRosalie House is a lovely Victorian tour home constructed in 1880's. To meet you is a charming hostess with Victorian manners and costume. Fun. Blue Springs Heritage Center (near Castle Antiques) has a variety of plants and flowers located by a crystal clear blue spring as well as displays, information and gardens relating to Amercian Indians and a small theatre showing a film on the history of Blue Spring and the area. (great photo ops by the gazebo) Eureka Springs Tours offers a comfortable guided tour, with an extremely knowledgable tour guide. (Concierge will make your reservations) DiningFor lunch walk up stairs to Paper Rose Tea Room for Victorian dining (must see the Ladies room!). Mud Street Café offers local flavor, great coffee and lunch specials.
